Mind-Fires Academy First Grade Plan Nearing Completion
I thought that those of you interested in our first grade plans might be interested in knowing that I am almost finished with them! I have some copywork sheets to complete for weeks 26-36 and need to update the week-by-week pages with the changes I have made. That's it! So if you were hoping to use these plans for your first grader next year, you will be able to.

Love the cards for the Burgess book! Thank you. Also a few new read-alouds for my first grader who reads, reads, reads! Thanks! We're looking to switch to Math Mammoth next year--do you think it needs to be supplemented with another curriculum?
Amy, I don't think Math Mammoth needs supplementation. The only reason that we're using a couple of other programs along with it is because I have a child who doesn't enjoy math unless it is story-based.
I stumbled upon your blog today. I love what you have here. You haven't blogged since March. Are you planning to come back to it or have you moved?
Lesa, I may blog from time to time but I've found that I'm just too busy to make it a regular thing. I have a two-week old baby, and I can barely keep up with the laundry, much less writing blog posts! lol
