I've mentioned one of the free resources we are using for grammar in a previous post, but I made some worksheets today to go along with the book and I wanted to share them with you all. Grammar-Land by M.L. Nesbitt is a wonderful book, and a perfect choice for Charlotte Mason inspired families. You can view it online or download the pdf file, or buy the book. We read it on my Sony Reader (the best homeschooling investment I have made!)
At the end of each chapter are some exercises woven into the story. I've taken those exercises and turned them into worksheets. Without something printed out and ready to go we tend to forget to do the exercises and I really think they are helpful in cementing concepts.

Thank you! I can't wait to use these with my son.
Have you been able to make any more of these? They look fun!
Amy, I haven't had a chance to get to it. I had really hoped to get it done by the middle of February and that obviously didn't happen. I think I'll schedule a day off of school next week so I can just sit down and do it. So look for them to be up by the end of next week!
Fantastic! Thank you oh so much for sharing!
Love it! I too need something ready to go otherwise it doesn't get done. Thanks for sharing!
Wow! Thanks for sharing! (Found you at Secular Homeschool...)
Just came across a link to your GL pages on TWTM. These are great! I've been tossing around the idea of using GL for my DD in 4th grade this fall. I'll need to take a closer look...Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for making and sharing the Grammar Land Worksheets. They are fantastic!

These are great! Thank you for taking the time to put them together and share. Would you be willing to post the answers too? I find grammar difficult, and it would help if I knew if my answers are correct.
Thank you!
Teri
I'm having problems printing the sheet at Scrib. I've tried downloading. I've connected through Facebook, as it suggested. It doesn't seem to want to let me download and print. Can you give me a hint?
And thank you so much for providing these sheets. I'm going to start Grammarland with my son next week.

Kay,
If you look at the very top of the post you will see a link to download the documents using Google Docs. Too many people were having trouble with Scribd, so I made them available through Google Docs.
Jessica
Thank you! It worked.
Jessica,
I just found your worksheets. They are wonderful! We are up to chapter 14 now and I have just been making copies of the pages.
One question, does anyone have the answers? While some exercises are very easy and obvious, others gives us pause to think.

Tammy, I don't have answer sheets made up. We only got to a certain point before it seemed a little too much for my 1st grader and we set the book aside to complete in a couple of years. I don't have any plans to make any in the near future, either, as I'm pregnant and have my hands quite full! lol
If anyone else has answer sheets made up and would like to share them I would be happy to link to them in my blog post so that everyone can access them.
Thank You so much, the worksheets will work so well for me. We are just getting ready to start our 3rd 12 week session for the year and these will be perfect.
I forgot to mention that homeschool freebies sent me your way.. Thank you again just perfect timing for me.
Thank you so much for posting these. They are beautiful, quality worksheets and the content is perfect... just what we needed. For those enjoying the story, here is a link to the audio recording for each chapter: http://www.archive.org/details/grammar-land_1011
Enjoy! ...and thanks again.
Just had to add my thanks as well. I'm looking to read this to my 3rd grader & was so excited to find someone had already made worksheets! Thanks a million for not only putting this all together, but for freely sharing it with all of us as well.
Best wishes to you & yours.
Thank you!!!
Thanks for sharing these worksheets. They will be a great addition to our homeschool.
I just stumbled across this from a google search for grammar land lessons. I am thrilled to find these. Thanks for creating them! We are enjoying reading the book and this will be a fun addition!
I just found your blog through Pinterest. I especially LOVE the worksheets for Grammar Land by nesbit. Those are fantastic! If I may ask, what did you do for chapter 18, if anything?
Thanks so much for sharing!
Krista
Is there anyway to get these worksheets without having to become a Premium Reader member?
Thanks
Sarah
Hi, thanks so much for these worksheets, I was finally able to get them through google docs. We have started Grammar-land and are using the worksheets, however, and I'm sorry if this seems like a ridiculous question, but the paragraph at the top for the worksheet, is that what is supposed to be used for the worksheet, or should my daughter be referring back to the actual lesson to find the answers for the worksheet?
Thanks
Sarah
Just a thank you for this great resource!
Did you ever make answer keys?
No, I'm sorry, I still have not made answer keys!
THANK YOU so much for the worksheets. We're enjoying using them as we read the book.

For those of you looking for the answers to the Grammar Land worksheets, I found a set from www.allinonehomeschool.com here:https://allinonehomeschool.files.wordpress.com/2012/10/homeschool-grammar-land-answer-sheet.pdf
This is great! Thank you very much!
Thank you so much for creating this worksheets. I will be using them with my 2 grader. Loving it
I'm a 7th grade writing public school teacher who has somehow never even heard of this book. I'm a few chapters in and LOVING it. I plan on making this part of my warm-up with my students along with your worksheets. I love how clean and well-made they are and really appreciate the effort you put in to them and allowing them to be used for free. I have been struggling to get my students to really internalize the Parts of Speech better, and I think this will really activate their interest.
